Genuine Parts Company is a service organization engaged in the distribution of automotive spare parts, industrial spare parts and materials, office supplies, and business products. GPC serves numerous customers from more than 2,600 operations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand , Singapore, Indonesia, France, Great Britain, Germany and Poland.

Founded in 1925, it consists of several subsidiaries that distribute automotive spare parts, industrial spare parts, office supplies and electrical / electronic materials. In North America, parts are mainly sold under the NAPA and Genuine® brands, in Canada - UAP, in Mexico - AutoTodo, in Asia and Australia - Repco. Electrical products are distributed by EIS, Inc., office products by SP Richards Company, and industrial products by Motion Industries. A subsidiary of Automotive Parts Group distributes automotive parts in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. In 1948, the GPC became public, its shares began to be traded on the NYSE under the ticker symbol GPC.
