Coty, Inc. is the world's largest perfume company, one of the leaders in the global cosmetics market with an annual revenue of about $ 9 billion. It was founded in Paris in 1904 by perfumer Francois Coty. By the 1960s, Coty had become the leading producer and seller of fragrances and the largest perfume company in the United States. In 1963 it was acquired by the Pfizer conglomerate. In 1992, the company was sold to JAB Holding Company. In 2013 The company held an IPO and went public. In the years 2015-16 Coty acquired from Procter & Gamble for more than 40 brands.
